Attending Eurobike Frankfurt 2024 was a dream come true for me, both as an enthusiast of e-mobility and as someone deeply involved in the cycling industry.

From the moment I stepped onto the exhibition grounds, I was struck by the sheer scale of the event and the palpable excitement in the air.

This year’s Eurobike was more than just an exhibition—it was a celebration of innovation, community, and the future of cycling.

One of the first things that caught my eye was the incredible array of technological advancements on display.

The DJI booth, with its cutting-edge Avinox motor system, immediately drew me in. Seeing DJI, a brand synonymous with drones, enter the e-bike market was nothing short of exhilarating.

The Avinox motor, which won a Eurobike award, was a masterpiece of engineering—compact yet powerful, with a torque of 105 Nm that could boost up to 120 Nm.The motor’s ability to adapt automatically to different terrains was particularly impressive, and I could see the potential it held for transforming the e-bike experience

As I moved through the exhibition, I was equally fascinated by igus’ plastic bike. I remember thinking, “This is the future.” The bike, made almost entirely of plastic and largely from recycled materials, represented a significant leap towards sustainability in cycling. It was lightweight, rust-resistant, and required no lubrication—an innovation that could change how we think about bike maintenance and environmental impact

But Eurobike 2024 wasn’t just about marveling at new products; it was about getting hands-on with the latest technology. The Infinity Street Show was a particular highlight for me.

Watching John Langlois, Gabriel Wibmer, and Tomomi Nishikubo perform gravity-defying stunts was nothing short of mesmerizing. The atmosphere was electric, with the crowd gasping and cheering as the riders pushed the limits of what’s possible on two wheels.

I also took the opportunity to test some of the latest bikes on the extended 3.5 km test track. The chance to experience these bikes firsthand was invaluable. The test rides offered a real feel for the power and precision of the new models, including some featuring mid-drive motors similar to those we offer at ToSeven Motor.

The smooth handling and responsive performance of these bikes left a lasting impression on me, reinforcing my passion for this industry.

Conversations with fellow professionals and cycling enthusiasts were enlightening, and I found myself constantly inspired by the passion and creativity of those around me

For me, Eurobike 2024 was not just about business—it was a deeply personal experience. The conversations I had, the products I saw, and the experiences I shared with others all reaffirmed why I love what I do.

One particularly memorable session focused on the future of e-bike technology, where industry leaders discussed the integration of AI and IoT in next-generation e-bikes. The idea of bikes that can learn from their riders, optimize their performance in real-time, and even communicate with other vehicles on the road is no longer science fiction—it’s on the horizon. This forward-thinking approach resonated with me and aligned perfectly with the innovative spirit we embrace at ToSeven Motor.
